A weekend trail ride near Mangatangi in the Hauraki district.

Day entry $50 adults / $20 kids (12 & under), or a two-day pass for $80/$30. Sign in from 8:30am, no formal riders briefing but rules are posted on a board. Helmets are compulsory; fire extinguishers recommended; boots, long clothing and goggles advised. There's a main loop with an A-loop option (about 25km), a family loop (about 10km) and a kids track (about 1km). Portaloos on site but no running water; BBQ and refreshments for sale (EFTPOS and cash). Camping available Saturday night, riders bring their own gear. Under-15s must ride with an adult.
