Motorcycling is dangerous and you ride at your own risk. MotoMenu only lists this event. It doesn't run, check or insure it, and doesn't handle payments. Entry fees go straight to the organiser. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MotoMenu accepts no liability for the event, payments, safety or the accuracy of any details.

Please read this carefully. By entering an event, or entering other riders, through MotoMenu you agree to these terms. 1. What MotoMenu is. MotoMenu (motomenu.co.nz) is a free event listing and entry-management website. It is a small, non-commercial community project based in New Zealand. MotoMenu is not the organiser, promoter, host, operator or insurer of any event listed on it. MotoMenu is not a party to the agreement between you and the event organiser. Each event is run entirely by its organiser, who is solely responsible for it. 2. No checks or guarantees. MotoMenu does not inspect, approve, endorse, supervise or insure any event, venue, track, course, organiser, marshal, landowner, rider or motorcycle. Event information is supplied by organisers or taken from public sources, and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. That includes dates, times, locations, map pins, directions, prices, age groups, skill levels, food, facilities, rules, permits and landowner permission. Confirm anything important directly with the organiser. 3. Payments. MotoMenu does not receive, hold, process, refund or guarantee any money. You pay entry fees directly to the organiser's bank account. MotoMenu does not verify bank account details and is not responsible for: payments made to an incorrect, changed or fraudulent account; payments that are late, lost, rejected, unmatched or wrongly referenced; refunds, cancellations, transfers, credits or disputes, which are matters between you and the organiser. Only pay into the account shown on motomenu.co.nz. MotoMenu will never email, text or phone you with different bank details. 4. Risk. Motorcycling, including trail riding, racing and events on private land, is dangerous. It can cause serious injury, permanent disability, death, and loss of or damage to property. You take part entirely at your own risk. MotoMenu has no control over, and no responsibility for: the course, terrain, conditions or weather; marshalling, first aid or medical cover; other riders, spectators, animals or vehicles; the condition of your motorcycle, helmet or gear. 5. The website. MotoMenu is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that entries, waitlists, spot counts, notifications, emails, maps or calculations will be accurate, delivered or on time. Keep your own record of your entry and payment. 6. No liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MotoMenu and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, affiliates and volunteers of any kind (together, "MotoMenu") are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death, cost or expense of any kind. That covers you and anyone claiming through you, such as your family or estate. It applies whether the loss is direct, indirect or consequential, and whether the claim is in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise. It covers anything arising from or connected with: any event listed on MotoMenu, or your entry, travel to or attendance at it; any payment, refund or bank details; any information on the website being incorrect, incomplete or out of date, including locations and map pins; anything an organiser, landowner, marshal, rider or other person does or fails to do; your use of, or inability to use, the website. 7. Limit. If any liability can't lawfully be excluded, MotoMenu's liability is limited, to the extent the law allows, to supplying the listing and entry service again. MotoMenu is free to use, so no amount is payable. 8. Release and indemnity. You release MotoMenu, as defined in clause 6, from all claims covered by clause 6. You agree to indemnify that same group against any claim, cost or liability, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your participation, your breach of these terms or the event rules, or anything done by you or by riders you enter. 9. Entering other riders. If you enter anyone else, you confirm that you have their authority to accept these terms for them, and that they have read them or had them explained. 10. Riders under 18. A parent or legal guardian must accept these terms on the rider's behalf. By doing so, they confirm that the rider is capable of riding safely at the event and will be properly supervised. 11. Your responsibilities. You are responsible for making sure that: you are fit, competent and ride within your ability; your motorcycle is safe and suitable; you wear an approved helmet and suitable protective gear; you follow the law, the event rules, marshal and organiser instructions, and landowner conditions; you don't ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 12. Photos and video. Photos and video may be taken at events by the organiser, MotoMenu, media and other people. By entering an event, you consent (and confirm that every rider you enter consents) to being photographed and filmed, and to those images being used, without payment, to report on and promote the event, the organiser and MotoMenu. 13. Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that can't be excluded by law. That includes rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (where it applies), the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. In New Zealand, personal injury is generally covered by ACC rather than court claims. 14. General. These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and NZ courts have jurisdiction. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. MotoMenu may update these terms. The version you accepted is recorded with your entry. Questions: hello@motomenu.co.nz.
