About
Another weekend running of the popular Berm Buster trail ride on Taupo pumice country, with graded loops for beginners through to experienced riders.

Trail riding day east of Taupo off Taharua Road/SH5. Sign-in from 7:15am, tracks open 9am-3pm. Cash entry only (no eftpos); fire extinguishers are compulsory (buy for $30 or hire for $30 with $20 refunded). Over 140km of graded trails (grades 1-6) across three main routes suited to different skill levels. Food, coffee, a gear store, onsite bike repairs, paramedics and sweep-rider recovery are provided. Free camping paddock with a portaloo open Friday midday to Monday midday. No quads or dogs, two-wheel motorcycles only, no entry before 7am Saturday. Bike hire available in timed slots.
