A weekend of forest trail riding east of Taupō, with more than 100 km of graded loops, expert breakout sections and short kids' tracks. Also runs on 14-15 Nov.

Two-day trail ride near Taharua Road/Homestead Road, Taupō. Cash entry only (no EFTPOS), sign-in from 7:15am. Fire extinguishers compulsory for adult riders (buy or hire on site, $30, hire deposit $20 refundable). Free self-sufficient camping near the forest entrance with a portaloo provided. Trails graded 1-6 across three main loops (approx. 12-30km each) totalling 140km+ over the weekend. Two wheels only, no quads or dogs. Food vendor, gear store, Huka Honda bike support, paramedics and sweep/recovery riders on course.
