Ride day at Dirt World, Waimangu (Pukemara), off SH5. Rider sign-on 8:30am, tracks open 9am-3pm. Cash-only entry: $60 adult, $40 child, $150 family (2 adults + up to 3 kids under 15). About 25km of flowing trails with 8 shortcut options back to the pits, plus a separate kids' track. Medic and toilets on site. No dogs, and no on-site camping (nearby options in Taupo/Rotorua suggested).
